In 1990, The Firestone Tire and Rubber
Company changed its name to Bridgestone/Firestone, Inc.
Sale of substantially all of the assets of the Firestone
Steel Products Company in 1986 was made to a separate
company that eventually became known as ACCURIDE Corporation.
Today, ACCURIDE
produces rim/wheel products for a variety of vehicle
applications. They also produce and distribute many
publications on the
Safety and Service Rims and Wheels. |
