Where will your trucks be
in 50 years?

In May of 2008, the American Truck Historical Society held its annual national convention and antique truck show at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.

Hundreds of antique truck enthusiasts spent the best part of a week polishing, posing, setting up and showing off commercial, military, agricultural, tanker and even fire trucks – plus buying, selling, trading and swapping pieces, parts, memorabilia and memories.

We always wonder whether we'll see today's trucks at future conventions. But, we figure you'd rather see than read about them, so here are a bunch of pictures.

Editor's note:
Next year's ATHS convention
will be held in Huntsville, Alabama,
May 28-30, 2009. For more information
about the convention, ATHS membership
or the ATHS magazine,
Wheels of Time,
see the Web site: aths.org, or
call 816-891-9900.
