As TMC’s
report, The Fleet Manager’s Guide to Fuel Economy shows, the
most skillful drivers can use as much as 35 percent less fuel than
the least skilled—by controlling speed, minimizing idling,
shifting progressively and managing their time effectively. That
means driver education can be the most important tool in large truck
fuel economy.
A new Bridgestone video, What Drivers Can Do To Save Fuel, is available
for use in driver education programs. During this 9-minute program
