Stress-relief rib sipes
Fight irregular wear on main ribs by absorbing
rib edge stresses in the footprint to promote
even wear for higher mileage.
Equalizer Rib™ design
Promotes uniform rib wear and higher removal mileage. This small rib absorbs irregular wear forces and fights initiation and spread of edge wear, including river and wavy wear, on the main ribs.
Thirsty mid-rib sipes
Enhance wet traction by breaking up
pocketed water for a solid grip
on wet surfaces.
Proven tread pattern
Helps evacuate water from footprint, offering
superior wet traction and control. Tread
design promotes extended even wear.
Improved Side Groove™ feature
Fights shoulder tearing and edge and wavy wear for long,
even wear. The R287A Side Groove design and position is
optimized for enhanced worn tire appearance. Inside of
groove is rounded to combat stress cracking.
