Choose the M725 for Long, Even Wear

Ultra-High Traction, Tread Life And Retreadability

Bridgestone's new M725 drive axle radial is specially designed to combine an ultra-deep tread for the long life you want with the aggressive traction you need for single drive axle tractors and straight trucks.

Like its cousin, the incredibly popular Bridgestone M726 (ideal for tandem drive axles), the M725 features a full 30/32” tread, plus patented Bridgestone innovations that promote ultra-long, ultra-even wear – for ultra-low cost per mile.

The Bridgestone M725 ultra-deep drive radial delivers long, even wear, solid traction and outstanding retreadability.

With its open shoulders, the M725 bites deeply into soft surfaces – like winter snow. Special block designs transmit the incredible torque of single screw tractors directly to the road.

Thousands of block edges slice through road films – for a solid grip on rain-slick streets.

Meanwhile, on certain sizes, a unique, patented tread block shape fights the forces of irregular wear, for incredibly long tread life.

Result: The M725 provides high removal mileage and superb retreadability, together with outstanding traction – for fleets running single drive axles.

Even Wear Extends Life, Reduces Need for Rotation

The high torque of single drive axle tractors and straight trucks often leads to “heel & toe” wear, in which one side of a tread block wears much more quickly than the other. The deeper the tread, the more likely this will occur.

For certain sizes of the M725, Bridgestone designers created an innovative, patented new block shape that counteracts the tendency of block edges to snap and drag while leaving the footprint.

This new design helps the M725 combat heel & toe wear for long, even tread wear and reduced need for tire rotation.

M725 drive radials are specially deisgned for use on single drive axle tractors & straight trucks.

With typical ultra-deep drive axle radial designs, as each tread block leaves the footprint, its edge tends to “snap” and drag, causing excessive wear on that side of the block.

Staggered block patterns at M725 shoulders are linked by tie bars for resistance to side forces that can initiate irregular wear.

Patented Dome Block™ design (U.S. Patent No. 5,690,761) on certain sizes fights tendency of block edges to drag against the pavement, for even wear and reduced need for rotation.

What Makes It Last

A. Open shoulder design helps provide aggressive traction on soft surfaces like snow, for a solid grip, even with single drive axles and high-torque engines.

B. Special platforms
at bottom of grooves help prevent retention of stones that can drill into the casing and reduce retreadability.

C. Deep 30/32" tread is 4/32" deeper than conventional deep tread drives – for high removal mileage on single drive axle tractors and straight trucks.

A. Extra 4/32 of usable tread provides ultra-long original tread life.
B. Tread blocks feature buttressed shapes to resist squirm that can cause irregular wear.

What Makes It First
Like every Bridgestone, the M725 has a casing designed for long life and retreadability. Four full steel belts and an all-steel body ply provide outstanding durability, especially for demanding single drive axle use.

And, the M725 may be retreaded for either drive or trailer axles, giving it tremendous versatility as part of your retreading program.

14 Years Of Triumph
The M725 is designed to be retreaded – again and again.   In fact, for 11 straight years, professional retreaders ranked Bridgestone truck radials #1 for retreadability. Then, in new surveys for 1997, 1998 and 1999 they voted Bridgestone #1 for casing durability. *

Retreaded or not, it’s nice to know your Bridgestone radials are built to take the punishment of today’s trucking – especially late at night and far from home.

Real Answers
The M725 is another of Bridgestone’s real answers to    questions asked by today’s fleets, providing both a full 30/32” tread depth and the open shoulder design preferred by many drivers and fleets using single drive axles.

Sophisticated research and development, together with      extensive real-world testing produced the Bridgestone M725: an ultra-deep drive radial that delivers high mileage – without sacrificing the durability and retreadability you’ve come to    expect from Bridgestone.

Make Your Own Real World Test
Fleets using single drive axles demanded long tread life and solid traction without having to give up even wear and retreadability. In short, they wanted a tire like the M726, but designed for their needs.

The Bridgestone M725 is a real answer to those real needs. An ultra-deep, 30/32" tread. Exclusive, patented irregular wear-fighting features. A casing built for money-saving retreadability.

But don’t take our word for it. Make the only test that really matters: Try the M725 on your vehicles, along your routes, with your drivers and your loads. In short – in your real world.
