Computer-engineered blocks, edges and notches bite into soft surfaces for excellent traction.
Tough tread compound

Belt-protecting stone rejector platforms
Prevent trapped stones from pushing deeper into tread grooves and piercing belt layer, damaging belts and exposing them to rust.

Casing-saving angled grooves
Discourage stones from being lodged in the tread and piercing belt layer.

This combination of rejector platforms and angled grooves work together to fight stone drilling for superior retreadability.
Solid shoulder design

Wider casing creates a larger air chamber, so there’s more air space to support the load. M860 carries an “L” load rating for your heaviest refuse loads – up to 20,000 lb. on steer axles.

B. Wider to last longer
M860’s wider design spreads the load over a larger area, distributing footprint pressure for longer tread life.
C. Tough enough to go the distance
M860 is rated for 65 mph maximum sustained speed.
D. Tough sidewall protection
Thick ribs fight curbing damage to protect the casing. If one side wears away, flip the tire over for continued protection.
E. Superior bead durability
Bridgestone’s 2-ply nylon plus 1 steel chafer helps strengthen the bead area – even under high brake heat and heavy loads – for outstanding tire life and legendary Bridgestone retreadability.
